Have the last 4 years felt like a whirlwind? One second it feels like time is standing still and the next moment years have passed... The astrology for the early 2020s reflects this chaos and 2024 is no exception. Many signs are moving into placements and ending eras of patterns; disrupting life as we know it. If that sounds far fetched, think about telling your self 15 years ago that we would openly shrug when the government admits to existence of UFOs.
Today brings the first full moon of the year, a full moon in Leo. And yes, as a true Leo I get extra excited when the moon transitions into my sun sign. As with any full moon, emotions feel extra charged and situations can seem intense. Be aware of your emotions and if you're being pulled into drama that is not yours to hold. This is a perfect evening to journal and release and breathe to set intention.
The sign of Leo is strong and passionate asking you to step up and be the Queen or King of your life. You may feel some deep, creative pulls and this is perfect to evaluate your time for just YOU. Now that we are a few weeks into this year, are you creating space and time for what brings you joy and what makes you feel like YOU? Are you having fun? If not, this is a perfect time to shift and invest in joy. Leo is a playful sign reminding us to approach life with childlike wonder and curiosity.
This moon is more positive than our usual transits and a day to celebrate and have fun. And "fun" should be authentic to what that means for you. So if that's takeout and binging your favorite show? Do it! If that's calling your friends and having a last minute dessert? Call them! Creating space to step into that Queen or King energy with a playful attitude.
